I'm calling it Yule Stars, for obvious reasons:

The inner red snowflake border doesn't look nearly as pink in real life, honest. About twenty reds, thirty greens, and six white/silvers, all from my stash except for a couple of the white/silvers. The borders were purpose-bought, since I don't buy fabric in border quantities for my stash -- or at least I haven't more than half a dozen times in twenty-odd years...
I just bought two stencils to use on it, a cluster of bells and holly for the red squares, and a holly border for the green pieces. I probably won't get around to quilting on it till next fall -- I'm hand-quilting on the flame quilt (almost a third of the way, I think) now, and I have smaller projects to work on over the summer. But I like it. In every way except the name, it suits me much more than the overly-busy Yule Log Cabin did. But I do regret losing the name [g].
